Kids Alley

Harvest of the Arts

UPMC PINNACLE KIDS ALLEY

Located on the corner of North Pitt Street and Louther Street, the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle Kid’s Alley is also growing and will include a large inflatables play area, a petting zoo and balloon twisting, craft and activity booths, a 20-foot by 40-foot sidewalk chalk area with thousands of pieces of chalk for children to use, and so much more.

Always a popular destination, Kid’s Alley will also host Color Carlisle, the downtown muralists who will be helping with a Kid Friendly art mural.  “Always on of the busiest spots, the Kids Alley is definitely something to bring your child to.” Griffith continued.

New for the Kids Alley is the introduction of young artist entrepreneurs with their own booths, art products and business models. Produced through the Acton Children’s Business Faire model, these students have worked tirelessly in making their art products for sale at the event. DCA Board Member and Kid’s Alley chair, Karen Griffith, owner of Create-a-palooza, started the new addition this year.  “It is a great way to introduce a new feature to Kids Alley and build the confidence of these art students” stated Griffith.  Six artists are participating in the Children’s Fair in 2018, and more are expected for next year.  Parents have signed their students up from all over the mid-state.  “Not only do they have to make the product, they learn to price it, display and merchandise it, and know the costs of a tent, tables, chairs, and other items needed to sell at these events” Griffith continued.    The Acton Children’s Business Fair will be on North Pitt Street.

Inflatables and activities will be on-site.  Some of the inflatables will be ticketed.  Pricing is as follows:
